I attended this conference where the speakers showed the sorry plight of Christians in the Middle East. They are forced by the crises and wars and the rise of Islamic fundamentalism, to emigrate in great number to escape intolerance and injustice that threaten them on all sides. The case of Christians in Iraq is very significant and shows the tragedy of these Christian minorities and ethnic groups in this East.
The conference decided to set up an observatory to support and publicize their sorry plight.
