كتاب: المؤرخون السريان يتحدثون عن
الحروب الصليبية
في يوم 11 من شهر نيسان الحالي قامت شركة فناك الفرنسية الشهيرة بتحضير أمسية خاصة بوسائل إعلامية و ملصقات جدارية كبيرة. واختارت هذا الكتاب كإبداع هام لهذه السنة. و دار حوار كبير بين المؤلف و الجمهور، حضر عدد كبير من القراء الفرنسيين من أساتذة و كتّاب و محبيّ التاريخ. وتطرق الكاتب افرام عيسى يوسف في هذه الندوة حول رؤية المؤرخين السريان مثل ميخائيل الكبير ورهاوي المجهول وبن العبري لتلك الحقبة التاريخية العسيرة. وحضر هذا اللقاء الأمين العام للدول الفركوفونية، وممثل حكومة إقليم كردستان العراق سيوان البارزاني، وجمعية بلاد الرافدين، وقناة تلفزيون سورويو تيفي، وبغض وسائل الأعلام الأخرى.

Les Syriaques racontent les croisades. (L’Harmattan, Paris). La Fnac Montparnasse a choisi le vendredi 11 avril 2008 pour inviter ses clients et lecteurs à une rencontre avec Ephrem-Isa Yousif pour son livre Les Syriaques racontent les croisades. Les responsables de la Fnac l’ont choisi et apprécié, car les chroniqueurs syriaques, Michel le Grand, l’Édessénien anonyme et Bar Hébraeus apportent une vision nouvelle sur les croisades, bien différente de celle des chroniqueurs latins, arabes et byzantins. J’étais heureux de présenter ce livre, où l’on découvre d’autres vérités. Beaucoup de préjugés peuvent disparaître. Un public nombreux a assisté à la séance, en présence de la télévision Suroyo TV. . Des personnalités comme Stélio Faranjis, secrétaire du Haut conseil de la Francophonie et Saywan Barzani, le représentant du Gouvernement du Kurdistan autonome l’ont honorée de leur présence.
Syriacs tell the crusades. (L’Harmattan, Paris). Fnac Montparnasse chose Friday April 11, 2008, to invite its readers with a meeting with Ephrem-Isa Yousif for its book “Syriacs tell the crusades”. The persons in charge for Fnac chose this book and appreciated it, because the Syriac chroniclers, Michel the Great, The anonymous Édessenian and Bar Hébraeus bring a new vision on the crusades, quite different from that of the Latin, Arab and Byzantine chroniclers. I was very happy to present this book, where other truths can be discovered. Many wrong ideas can disappear. A important public attended the lecture, in the presence of Suroyo TV. Personalities like Stélio Faranjis, secretary of the High council of the Francophonie and Saywan Barzani, the representative of the Government of autonomous Kurdistan honoured the conference with their presence.
