Lecture

Saturday June 16, 2007,  I took part with Emmanuel Yokhana, an Assyrian priest from Wisbaden, in a telecast entitled "The situation of the Chistians of Iraq and the project of autonomy". This transmission was directed by Sabri Yacoub, Souroyo TV., Sweden.

I tried to present the current state of the Assyro-Chaldean-Syriac people who live under dramatic conditions in Baghdad, Mosul and Basra, threatened in his existence by fanatics. I proposed some projects which will be able to make it possible to these people to live in peace and safety, in North, in autonomous Kurdistan, with garantees which would grant to him cultural, linguistic, religious and economic rights. The majotity of the Christians of Iraq are coming from Kurdistan. In the future, a question araises, that of possible autonomy.
