Declaration : Ephrem-Isa YOUSIF

Recently, an article has been published in Arabic language on the website  Nirgalgate, entitled "The kurdification and the submersion of the identity"

This article, which could come from Dr. Ephrem-Isa YOUSIF, and would be sent to all Christians of Iraq, advised to them not to accept the suggestions of linking up their lands and the grounds of their ancestors with the areas of autonomous Kurdistan.  The Kurds would be fundamentalist, chauvinist.  By this linking up, their churches and their convents would be destroyed and  become offices for the two great political parties of Kurdistan.  It would be an unforgivable error. Never have confidence with the promises of the Kurds.

I never wrote this article, never published it in newspapers, medias, or on the web. I disapprove those who made use of my name for political intentions.It is an infringement against the law.

However, my positions are in the opposite direction.In Kurdistan, the rights of Assyrian-Chaldean-Syriac people are more often that not respected, the schools taught freely,  several arts centres are in full swing, newspapers are published, T.V. Ishtar can freely broadcast its programmes.
